COLDAIR: Versatile and Certified Industrial Adiabatic Coolers

All COLDAIR industrial adiabatic coolers are available in wall-mounted versions with lateral air delivery or roof-mounted versions with downward air delivery. Airflow rates range from 1,000 m³/hour to 30,000 m³/hour, making them suitable for various applications.

HOW COLDAIR WORKS

COLDAIR operates in dynamic mode, introducing large volumes of cooled and purified outdoor air into the environment through a completely natural and cost-effective process that requires no refrigerant gases. Warm, stale air is expelled through doors, windows, or forced extraction systems.
All COLDAIR units are equipped as standard for remote management, allowing control of individual units, groups of units, or integration with BUS/MODbus systems.
Key Features of COLDAIR
Each unit is equipped with a pre-calibrated differential pressure switch that monitors the efficiency of the evaporative panels. It alerts when replacement is needed via both visual and audible alarms on the control panels, ensuring optimal cooling performance at all times.
All coolers are equipped with a network isolator, allowing safe access to the unit during maintenance. Additionally, a thermal disconnector is included, which shuts down the cooler in case of abnormal power consumption, ensuring maximum operational safety.
The “Water-Save” option minimizes or completely eliminates periodic self-cleaning cycles of the evaporative panels. Additionally, it is possible to disable the final water discharge before shutdown by setting a timer between 10 and 50 minutes. This ensures that COLDAIR uses up the remaining water in the tank without refilling it, enhancing water efficiency.
In addition to internal temperature and humidity sensors, the new external temperature sensors correlate the internal set-point temperature with the external temperature readings. This allows for precise water management and autonomous control of whether to activate the recirculation pump, optimizing system efficiency.
This system enhances the performance of evaporative panels by ensuring a complete drying cycle after cooling and precise pre-wetting before startup. This feature boosts operational efficiency, extends panel lifespan, and improves air quality in large industrial and commercial environments. It is the ideal solution for those seeking reliability and consistent performance over time.

The COLDAIR Health line, equipped with a system that eliminates harmful substances from incoming outdoor air (nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, benzene, ammonia, formaldehyde, PM10 atmospheric particulate, and organic molecules), meets the requirements of Annex A of Law No. 232, December 11, 2016, under the section “Systems for Quality and Sustainability Assurance.”

Specifically, it falls within category 13:
“Filters and systems (including installations) for the treatment and recovery of water, air, oil, chemicals, and dust, featuring systems to monitor filtration efficiency and detect anomalies or foreign and hazardous substances. These systems are integrated with factory operations and can alert operators and/or halt the activities of machines and plants.”

This compliance qualifies the line for the incentives provided by the Industry 4.0 Decree.

The new interface instrumentation includes:

EVO New Generation Display, which retains the features of the previous model while enabling all the new functionalities of the latest generation COLDAIR units.
QBO Master Series Terminals, which allow centralized management of 1 to 16 COLDAIR units from a single access point.
The coolers connect directly to the control panel without requiring external network modules. Through the terminal, users can access all operating parameters of each individual cooler and monitor their performance.

Additionally, interaction with the coolers is possible via a dedicated App or cloud platform (available only with QBO 20 and QBO 30).

The “Humidity Plus” function intelligently regulates the operation of the recirculation pump, adapting it to the specific needs of the environment. This option ensures optimal humidity levels, enhancing climate comfort and energy efficiency. It is particularly suited for environments requiring precise humidity control, such as greenhouses, livestock facilities, or industrial spaces.

HealthPowered Air PurificationCOLDAIR H (Health) is equipped with the HEALTH system, designed to purify incoming air from atmospheric pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, benzene, ammonia, formaldehyde, PM10 particulates, and organic molecules.

These systems comply with the requirements of the Industry 4.0 regulations for treating incoming outdoor air in workplaces and production areas.
