An improvement of just 0.1 points in the ICA can reduce the amount of feed needed to produce a kilogram of meat by about 2-3%, while an improvement of 0.2 points can reduce feed requirements by 5-6%.

Temperature, humidity, ventilation, and light within livestock facilities affect animal productivity and the amount of feed required to achieve a desired outcome.
